Accurx is our main way to contact the practice for medical and administrative requests.
When can I use it?
- Open 7.30am to 1pm Monday to Friday for all requests
- All clinical requests are reviewed on the same working day of submission
What can I use it for?
- GP advice and appointment requests
- Medication queries and reviews
- Booking a nurse or healthcare assistant appointment
- Sick notes, letters, and other admin requests
What happens after I submit?
Your request is reviewed by the appropriate team
We may:
- Reply by message or phone
- Ask for more information
- Arrange an appointment if needed
Appointments are prioritised based on clinical need.
Please do not submit multiple requests for the same issue, as this can delay responses.
FAQ's
What happens if I do not answer the phone?
The surgery will always try to contact patients twice before closing a request. If you do not answer these calls, you may be required to submit a new request. If you are unable to answer the phone at a specific time, please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate this. If you would prefer to communicate over text mes
Can I submit a request for someone else?
You can submit a request on someone else’s behalf as long as you have their consent. Unless you are a specified carer of that person, we will always contact the patient rather than the person submitting the request.
