Out of Hours
During evenings and overnight (from 6:30pm through to 8am); at weekends and during Bank Holidays, Out of Hours cover is provided – if you need a Doctor urgently during times when the surgery is closed you should ring the main surgery number 01792 882368 for instruction – please have a pen handy to note the emergency telephone number which will be provided.
The surgery also closes to facilitate staff training – this is essential training for all staff – GPs, Nurses and administrative staff to ensure that all their skills and qualifications are maintained at a safe and appropriate level. Notices will be displayed when the surgery is closed for half-day training – and during this closure out of hours cover will be provided – again a telephone message can be accessed on the main practice line, as above, for patients needing urgent medical care.
