Pharmacy Services

Common Ailments Scheme
What does the service offer?
Your community pharmacist can offer free confidential NHS advice and/or treatments for a number of common health problems without you having to make an appointment with your GP under the Common Ailments Scheme.
If you visit a pharmacy with a common ailment, you can ask the pharmacist for advice and treatment where required. The pharmacist may ask if you wish to register for the service. Registering means the pharmacist may supply you with the medicine you need free of charge.
